We have some similarities in our goals for the year. I’m reading Wilkie Collins now and plan to read Trollope soon. I LOVE Pilgrim’s Progress and have read it three or four times.

Thanks for your comments on my Chesterton post. I highly recommend Chaim Potok and Dorothy Sayers. I read several by each of those authors and more titles are on my mental TBR list! I do like George MacDonald. I’ve read At the Back of the North Wind and Lilith. Last December I read the trilogy of the Glaston Curate which was great. Thanks for the reminder, I should look for more by him.

You’ve got some great authors picked out for next year – Chesterton and Dorothy Sayers are among my favorites! You might also give George MacDonald a read; he was a big inspiration for Lewis and Chesterton both, and I really enjoyed At the Back of the North Wind.

You’ll have to let me know how Catch-22 goes; I’ve toyed with reading it but somehow never got around to it. Thanks for stopping by Shelf Life!
