Susan – thank you so much for checking in and making a comment. I blog for myself, but it is nice to know others are reading and you always encourage me, especially when I bare my soul a little bit.

Yes – this is a book worth reading multiple times. Tim Challies (of challies.com) has said there are some books that should be read every year for at least a few years so we really get it. I can see reading this one again next year as well for that very reason.

I do pray your books aren’t mildewed, that would be a tragedy. I’m still praying for you and Stephane.

It’s been too long since I’ve read that book. Glad I’ll have access to my stored stuff this summer. Think I’ll put it on my to-do list for when I get to open the boxes (praying they aren’t mildewed!!).

Wow Laura! I didn’t know you had a blog until now! It’s cool. I’m so sorry about all the pain going around with David’s decision. I didn’t know quite what happened until seeing 2 of your posts. It sounds like you’re being a solid rock the rest of them need right now and I’m sure that means more than you know. May God bless and I’ll put this in my prayers….

P.S., as you know, I like the ‘Life is Good’ stuff – but I see the title of one of your blogs is ‘Life is Hard’ – and, gosh, yes it is. Thankfully, with God’s grace, it’s good sometimes too.

SO sorry about this news. I am praying. He’s still in the miracle business.

I had wondered about you as I noticed it had been a while. Dropping you a note was on my list. Thx for the update. I know how hard this is. My BFF’s husband did the same thing in the same way. No reasons, no explanations that make sense compared to reality — just a former godly man leaving.

What I like is Hanegraff doesn’t just argue that these preachers and teachers are wrong because he says they are or because he dislikes them. Rahter, he uses Scripture again and again to righly points out the right meaning of Scripture. He presents their message. Then presents Scripture proofs as to show how their interpretation cannot be the correct one. As an online pastor I encourage everyone to read this book.
